What is Music?

 Good, Bad and Criticism in Music.
(Believe me it is not inspired by the discussion in the last topic. The way things turned out)
I just wanna learn about some basics of Music.
(1) Define Music. What is Music?.
(2) Guide me what is good Music and bad Music. Are there any parameters to judge a piece of Music?
(3) Do popular songs are a good piece of Music?
(4) Teach me the point if I wanna criticize a bad piece of music how m I going to defend my point of view? Shouldn’t I speak more technically about the piece rather than getting personal about the person.
(5) What are the technical basis of a good music piece? Like whole composition, melody and beat or what comes first?
I talked about this to a friend of mine who is studying music and he told me about the Raza Kazim’s (Institute of Musicology) point of view that a good piece of music fallows a macro reality about the flow of nature. Human evolution goes through unconscious to conscious and every piece of music which is fallow the rules of macro reality and also support the individuality is a good piece of music and when we judge the music we should also see the person’s behavior. Wjo says it’s good. I agree with this but I think here I wanna know more about ur opinion becaz I think every person’s definition and judgment can lead me to a conclusion.

Well,Music by defination to me is a an organized noise..many ppl define music in different ways but u can safely say that music is a medium by which anyone can express his inner feelings..
It is very difficult to declare any piece of music good or bad if there is no technical error..
It is not always neccessary that a popular song must have been a good piece of music..
U can just criticize a bad piece of music on technical basis..
Everything like Melody,Lyrics,Vocals,Beat contibutes,there is no any hard n fast rule to determine this,musicians as well as listners have their own prefrences..

what is freedom
i have always believed in freedom, though at most times didn’t know what it meant however last night i pondered on the word and this it didn’t elude me. freedom reveals itself when we screw up our courage to see it without pretence, in the dizzying collapse of external sanctions and universal laws, in appalling conciousness that I, and I alone, have absurdly and withoutreason, brought oreder out of chaos; that I, crudely and stupidly, without cosmic meaningor rational ground, have made a world out of nothing; and with that awareness my world itself totters on the brink of the nothingness from which it came. Hope you understand whati mean. i think its the same for all of us.

Political freedom

Tis when you can do something without having to be accountable for anyone.. when you can crush an ant but you don’t, as you don’t feel like (or you do, coz you’re evil)
freedom is when(i’m putting it bluntly, not justifying it) an opressed terrorist will behead the enemy civilian/ hostage in his own territory, just for the feeling of power and respect.
In the best case scenario, freedom is anarchy. It’s good when all the exercisers of freedom are educated and responsible; the key to more freedom is a reliable populace and more responsibility, but in a country like ours with few resources and a huge population, the goal of the haves, is mostly just to get more at the expense of others, you see, not everyone can win in a rat race.
The only one sentence in the original question is enough to say what is said so many convoluted words and that is:
“that I, crudely and stupidly, without cosmic meaningor rational ground, have made a world out of nothing;”
Basically everyone has freedom to create their own world. Its free will.
and does such freedom exist? well it does in the form of free will, if you believe in free will. This kind of personal freedom exists.

All other political, social freedoms are myth. They dont exist. they are just illusions.

The word “FEELING” means the situations or emotions that we express in different situations.
emotions are something else yar …feelings are some thing else
emotions are the responce which we show having different feelings
while
feelings are “ihsasat”

I think to be happy you have to dismiss your feelings and give them freedom.
It’s no good idea to suppress or oust them.
Let your feelings live. yes!
Know dismissing is a good way to get happiness!
Sometimes keeping in yourself will make yourself upset and lonely.Speaking out is usually better,because friends around you will help you!
I think feeling can be connected with many things,such as love,hate,appreciate and so on.If you have feeling to something,don’t doubt and come on.You will be happy.

What Is Nature
what does nature mean to you? what is the first thing that comes to ur mind whn we sat “nature”? The 1st thing tht comes to my mind is “GOD”.. nothing in this world can challenge nature or god with the amazing beauty that it gives us, with the signs and the warning that it gives us even in our daily lives..
Its even beyond GOD because when u connect to nature you can have a conversation with nature and in that case it could be anythin like mountains, rivers, beaches, tress anything.
Even Hindu mythology considers nature as god!!!
